Hickory Motor Speedway was forced to put a halt to their program Saturday night after the Governor of North Carolina made a statement that no more than 100 people were allowed to be together at any event in the state. Hickory had made it through Practice and Qualifying before hearing about the Governor's ban and had no choice to avoid legal action and ask everyone to leave the property.
At this time there is no clue if Hickory Motor Speedway or any track in North Carolina will be able to operate over the next few weeks.
